Indara Extensions – Privacy Notice

PRIVACY NOTICE

This Privacy Notice describes the information collection, use, retention, and sharing practices of Indara Extensions LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) when you interact with us through our website (the “Website”) or other digital products on which this Privacy Notice appears (collectively, the “Services”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT, WHY, AND FOR HOW LONG

We collect “personal information,” meaning information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked—directly or indirectly—to you, when you engage with the Services.

We collect personal information from a variety of sources and in a variety of ways, including when you:

• Contact us via the Website

When you contact us through the Website (for example, to submit questions regarding our hair products), we collect your personal identifiers (such as name and email address) and any additional information you include in your message. We use this information to respond to your questions or inquiries, troubleshoot where necessary, and address any issues you have with the Services.

• Create a customer account

When you create a customer account (“Account”), we collect your personal identifiers (name, email, and password). We use this personal information to create and manage your Account. If you opt in to receive email marketing communications from us, we will send you editorial content, updates, and other information we think will be of interest to you. You can opt out of email marketing at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” option included with each email. (We may still send service or transactional emails.) We retain this information until you delete your account.

• Make a purchase

When you make a purchase on our Website, we collect—either directly or via our third-party payment processor—your personal identifiers (name, email address, shipping address, and, if provided, telephone number) and your sensitive financial information (such as credit or debit card number, CVV, and expiration date). We use this information to process payments, fulfill and manage orders, payments, and returns or exchanges.

If, during checkout, you opt in to receive marketing or promotional text messages (e.g., cart reminders), we will use your information to send automated messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For support or assistance with messaging, you may contact us at indaraextensions@gmail.com. If you elect to submit payment through “Express Checkout” options such as debit/credit card, your use of those services is governed by each provider’s own privacy policy.

• Post a review

When you write a review on the Website, we collect your personal identifiers (name and email address), any visual information you provide (e.g., a photograph), and the content of your review. We post reviews publicly. To request deletion of content, email indaraextensions@gmail.com. Because our Website is publicly accessible, any information you include in a post may be viewed or used by others.

• Post a question

When you post a question on the Website, we collect your personal identifiers (name and email address) and the content of your question. We post questions and our responses publicly. If you prefer to ask a question privately, please contact us instead of posting publicly. To request removal of posted content, email indaraextensions@gmail.com.

• Participate in loyalty programs

When you participate in our Indara Rewards and/or Indara Queens Club programs (collectively, “Rewards Programs”), we collect your personal identifiers (name, email address, and date of birth if provided). We use this information to enroll you, track participation, send discounts, and administer points and member benefits.

• Sign up for our newsletter

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address and use it to send updates, news, and special offers. You may unsubscribe at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in our emails. Our emails may include a tracking pixel that indicates whether you open the email and click links; we use this to tailor communications. You can disable this by blocking images in your email client.

• Interact with us on social media

When you interact with our fan pages on social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, or others (“Fan Pages”), we may receive engagement metrics (e.g., likes, comments, shares) and any information you provide via such interactions. Content you post on Fan Pages is public and may be viewed or used by others. You can request removal of our reposted content by emailing indaraextensions@gmail.com. Note: each platform processes personal information under its own privacy policy.

• Contests or sweepstakes

When you enter a contest or sweepstakes (including via Fan Pages), we may collect your personal identifiers (name, email address, shipping address, and, if provided, telephone number) and visual identifiers (e.g., profile photo). We use this information to manage entries, communicate with participants, and administer the promotion.

• Events and photos

If you register for an event, we collect the information you provide (e.g., name, email, address). At events, photos or video may be captured; if you are the central subject, we will ask for your consent before photographing. We use such media for our public relations and marketing.

• Community management & analytics

We may work with service providers to help us analyze engagement with our content (e.g., to understand audience demographics, reach, and performance) and to improve our public relations efforts and advertising.

• Interact with the Services (cookies & similar technologies)

We use essential, performance, marketing, and analytics cookies/pixels to collect usage, device, and approximate location information (derived from your IP address) when you interact with the Services. We use this to: (i) track activity within the Services; (ii) enhance user experience; (iii) perform analytics to improve the Services; (iv) prevent and detect fraud or abuse; (v) diagnose and fix errors; and (vi) provide targeted advertising.

Notable third-party tools may include Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. You can manage cookies via your browser settings and any cookie preferences tool we make available on the Website. Opt-outs are browser and device specific. For Google Analytics, you may also install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

• Aggregate/deidentified data

We may aggregate or deidentify information for benchmarking and internal analytics. We maintain this data in deidentified form and will not attempt to reidentify it except to test our deidentification processes or as required by law.

We also use personal information to comply with applicable law, maintain and secure our business and the Services, and for other limited purposes described in How We Share Your Personal Information.

Retention. Unless otherwise stated, we retain information for as long as required by law, as long as needed for the business purpose for which it was collected, or until we receive a valid deletion request.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share personal information in the following instances:

  • Corporate transactions. If we enter into, or intend to enter into, a transaction that alters our business structure (e.g., reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, joint venture, assignment, consolidation, transfer, or change of control), we may share personal information with counterparties and their advisors. We may also share information in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings.

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors that assist us in providing the Services (e.g., IT support, hosting, payment processing, order fulfillment, invoicing, customer service, messaging/email delivery, analytics, advertising, and similar services). These providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to us.

  • Legal purposes. We share information when required by law or legal process (e.g., court orders, subpoenas, regulatory requests) and to establish or exercise legal rights, defend against claims, enforce our terms, prevent fraud or security incidents, and protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public

YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES

  • Access or correct your information. You may access your Account to view or correct certain personal information associated with it.

  • Cookie controls & targeted advertising. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and (if available) in our on-site cookie preferences tool. Note that opting out is browser/device specific and may affect your experience. Some cookies are essential and cannot be disabled.

  • Opt out of Meta Pixel–based advertising. You can adjust your ad preferences within your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account settings and/or manage cookies via your browser or our preferences tool.

  • Opt out of Google Analytics. You can use Google’s opt-out browser add-on and/or manage cookies via your browser or our preferences tool.

  • Email tracking. You can block images in your email client to disable open-tracking pixels.

  • Marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of our emails. We may still send non-marketing messages related to your Account, orders, or support requests. For SMS marketing, you can opt out by following the instructions provided in our messages or by contacting us at indaraextensions@gmail.com.

DO NOT TRACK

We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. You can enable or disable Do Not Track in your browser settings.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We implement and maintain reasonable security measures—such as access controls, multifactor authentication where appropriate, and encryption—to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. However, no security program or data transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Services are not intended for individuals under eighteen (18) years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual under 18, we will delete it. If you believe we may have information from or about a child under 18, please contact us at indaraextensions@gmail.com.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE

We may amend this Privacy Notice at any time in our sole discretion. If we do, we will post the changes on this page and indicate the effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Notice regularly. If we make changes that materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice (e.g., prominent notice on the Website and/or email) and obtain consent where required.
